Philip Allen is CEO of MidStar Capital where he leads the firm’s overall strategic direction, operational and risk management and financial oversight.

Prior to joining MidStar, Philip held various roles at HSBC Canada, including Head of Structured Banking, Head of Commercial Banking Origination and Head of Loan Syndications. Previously, he worked in Ireland and the UK at the Bank of Ireland in corporate banking, loan restructuring and leveraged finance.

Philip earned his MBS in International Business from the Michael Smurfit Graduate School of Business at University College Dublin.
